Join us for a welcoming and inspiring 10-week handbuilding pottery course, where you'll learn the art of working with clay in a relaxed, friendly studio. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience, we'll guide you step by step as you create beautiful, functional and decorative ceramic pieces you'll treasure for years to come.

Course Details

🗓️ Duration: 10 weeks (term time only)

⏰ Session Length: 3 hours

👥 Class Size: Maximum 8 students

💷 Cost: £350 per person

Your Course Includes

Over the ten weeks we will cover:

• Studio safety

• Conditioning clay

• Pinch pots

• Slab building

• Coil building

• Using cutters

• Sprig moulds

• Drape moulds

• Decorative techniques including slip, sgraffito, using oxides, botanics, painting and glazing.

Plus:

• Professional tuition over a ten-week course of three hours each week

• Use of studio tools and equipment

• Tea, coffee and a welcoming atmosphere

• Storage of your ongoing work during the course

• Payment is required in full to reserve your place.

• Fees are non-refundable unless Belle's Pottery cancels the course.

• There is a small additional cost for the clay that you use at £1 per 100g. This includes bisque firing and glazing and is paid as you go when you put your finished items in for bisque firing.

• Children aged 16+ are welcome when accompanied by a participating adult.
